In response to the needs of women and their families, the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade has for more than a decade raised funds and awareness for access to care and finding a cure for breast cancer among women. Don’t be fooled, it can strike men as well! There is a new diagnosis every 3 minutes and a life lost every 4. Because there is no known cure for breast cancer, awareness, education, and early detection are our best defenses against the disease. According to the American Cancer Society, there is a 97% survival rate when breast cancer is caught early, before it spreads to other parts of the body.

From 1992 through 2005, the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade raised and donated more than $400 million in 50 countries worldwide. Funds are raised through a wide variety of special events, product sales, runs, concerts and other initiatives in addition to the Avon Walks. The donations go towards medical research, access to treatment, screening, support services and education. The Avon Breast Cancer Crusade’s commitment to this cause is unwavering, as is HBI’s enthusiasm and commitment!
