LEONARDTOWN , MD –Home Builders, Inc., of Leonardtown recently received the Silver Award for its Montpelier home at the 12 th Annual Custom Builder Awards of Excellence, sponsored by the Maryland-National Capital Building Industry Association (MNCBIA). The Montpelier home model competed in the category of “ Speculative Luxury Homes under 3,500 Square Feet.”
In all 33 local custom homebuilders and remodelers were awarded top honors in 17 categories. The annual MNCBIA awards acknowledge, honor and celebrate excellence in construction, architecture and design by custom builders and remodelers in the metropolitan Washington region.
All entries were judged by an independent panel who reviewed the entries according to a number of pre-determined criteria including design considerations, construction details and the specific ways the house satisfied the client’s needs.
